California is one signature away from helping expand access to a lifesaving skill for students across the state, and we need your help with urging Governor Newsom to sign Senate Bill 945 (SB 945).

SB 945 requires the Instructional Quality Commission to explore adding CPR training AED instruction to physical education classes and broadening access to Hands-Only CPR training and AED education for California high school students. Today, many students miss out on Hands-Only CPR instruction because it is only required in schools that mandate a health course for graduation.

SB 945 is now on Governor Newsom’s desk. Send a message today urging him to sign this important legislation into law.
