During the month of August, the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate are in recess. This means that federal lawmakers are often in their states or districts more able to meet with constituents. Advocates can schedule meetings with their elected officials, or meet them at public events and talk about critical issues for public health.
We will be asking lawmakers to ensure schools are equipped to save lives in a cardiac emergency and to support lifesaving medical research. Your involvement is crucial to save lives from cardiac arrest, and to ensure that groundbreaking life-saving medical research can continue to make a difference for patients everywhere. After you sign up to join the August Recess activities, our team will follow up with you to help you have the support and tools needed to talk with your elected officials.
