Help Us Make Wyoming Schools Safer Through Cardiac Emergency Response Plans (CERPs)

The American Heart Association envisions a future where every school is prepared to respond to cardiac arrest emergencies on campus – protecting students, staff and school visitors with life-saving readiness.
Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, at any time. By adopting Cardiac Emergency Response Plans, schools become safer spaces where staff are CPR trained, AEDs are available and accessible, and clear protocols are in place to ensure that every heartbeat has a fighting chance.
Having a well-developed plan that directs the specific steps needed to respond to cardiac arrest emergencies can mean the difference between life and death.
It’s critical that our schools are equipped and ready to respond to cardiac arrest emergencies on campus.
