Congratulations on reaching Lap 5 of the IN-fluence 500 Challenge! We’ve loved taking this journey with you, and now it is time to finish strong.

The final lap is all about leadership and putting your new advocacy knowledge to good use. Now is the time to prove all you’ve learned in the last 5 weeks before the checkered flag is waved.

In this lap, you’ll become a leader by recruiting other advocates and using your new advocacy skills in person at a lawmaker meeting or at Indiana 2027 Heart at the Capitol Advocacy Day on January 26, 2027.

Here are the pit stops for Lap 5:

  1. Invite two friends to join the American Heart Association Heart Powered network.
  2. Attend Advocacy Day on January 26, 2027.
  3. Schedule an in-person meeting with your lawmaker to share your why.
  4. Complete a brief satisfaction survey for the IN-fluence 500 Challenge.
