The 2025 Legislative Session is Almost Over

With the end of the 2025 Nevada Legislative session quickly approaching we want to give you an update on what we are focused on.

Here’s what we’re watching:

  • Assembly Bill 268: Provides funding to help school districts increase access to school meals. On April 24, the Joint Senate Finance and Assembly Ways & Means Committees held a budget hearing where public comment was invited. The hearing focused on identifying potential funding to close access gaps and ensure school meal programs remain strong.
  • Senate Bill 435: A tobacco registry bill, which we oppose, is still moving. It was recently amended and passed out of the Senate Revenue and Economic Development Committee, then further amended on the Senate floor. If it passes, it will move to the Assembly, where it is expected to be referred to the Assembly Revenue Committee for further consideration.

As always, we’re staying vocal, visible, and focused.
