Heart Attack and Stroke Symptoms

Join us at the 2026 Arizona Heart at the Capitol

We’re excited to invite you to join us for Heart at the Capitol — a powerful opportunity to advocate for cardiac emergency response plans in schools (CERPs) and help protect students and staff across our state.

Last year you helped us pass legislation that requires automated external defibrillators (AEDs) at all high school athletic facilities, but now it is time to ensure all schools across our state are prepared in case of a cardiac emergency.

Together, we’ll meet with lawmakers, share stories, and advocate for legislation that ensures every school is prepared to respond to cardiac emergencies.

Location: Wesley Bolin Plaza at the AZ State Capitol–Phoenix, AZ

Date: Thursday, January 15, 2026

Time: 9:00am-3:00pm

RSVP: Click here to RSVP

CERPs save lives. By joining us, you’ll help ensure every school has the tools and training needed to respond quickly and effectively to a cardiac emergency.

Whether you’re a survivor, caregiver, healthcare professional, educator, or passionate advocate — your presence makes a difference. No prior advocacy experience is necessary so join us for a day of learning and advocacy!
