Introducing our new Community Advocacy Director, Lake Majestic!

Lake Majestic has joined the Field Advocacy team as a Community Advocacy Director, working to lead and advance Heart’s policy agenda in our multi-state eastern region, which includes the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and West Virginia. He has spent three years on the Federal Advocacy team managing a wide-ranging legislative portfolio, including tobacco control, stroke, caregiving, disability, and charitable sector/tax issues. He played a key role securing a major win in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), helping to restore and expand the charitable deduction for non-itemizers up to $1,000 for individuals and $2,000 for joint filers. He lives in Washington, DC.
