Governor Cox Signs Bill to Address Childhood Hunger!

We have good news. Legislation to help address childhood hunger in Utah passed and was signed by Governor Cox earlier this month!

HB100, gets rid of the reduced-price category for school lunches, making school lunch free for qualifying students.  While the final language of HB100 is not everything we had hoped it is a good step toward making sure Utah students are fed for success and will help children who might otherwise go hungry during the school day.

Thank you to everyone who sent messages or made phone calls to your state lawmakers in support of this bill. Today we celebrate this win for Utah children.
