Fairgoers Advocate for Lifesaving Hands-Only CPR

As summer winds down, our commitment to raising awareness about Hands-Only CPR and the importance of Cardiac Emergency Response Plans in schools remains strong. And what better place to connect with the community than the Alaska State Fair? This year, the American Heart Association hosted a table of information alongside Hands-Only CPR demonstrations. While at the fair, we invited attendees to sign a petition in support of Hands-Only CPR training for students and the implementation of Cardiac Emergency Response Plans in schools. These initiatives are vital to protecting lives and empowering everyday heroes. We’re excited to deliver these petitions to legislators to demonstrate that Alaskans support these life-saving policies. It’s time for Alaska to take this important step forward!
