Delaware schools need stronger cardiac response plans
June 1, 2026
As many of you know, last year we were thrilled to sign the Emergency Action Plan legislation into law. It helped provide critical support to schools when there is a cardiac emergency at a school and with sports teams.
This was great legislation, and a critical first step to making Delaware schools safer, but we know we can do so much more. Delaware needs a full Cardiac Emergency Response Plan. One that means that all Delaware schools have proper CPR protocols in place and funds AED’s at all Delaware schools. When there is a cardiac emergency, seconds count and we want to make sure anyone at a Delaware school is as safe as possible.
We need your help to see this through. This CPR/AED Awareness Week, will you join our fight? Please click here to pledge your support for Cardiac Emergency Response Plans. Your help is a critical piece in taking our state laws just a little bit further to make a big difference in the lives of so many.
We hope we can count on you as our best advocates and supporters! Together we can bring health and hope to everyone, everywhere.
