Community Conversation to be Held for Healthy School Meals for All
October 7, 2026
As we all know, students in Virginia’s schools aren’t getting enough to eat. In fact, a recent study shows that about HALF of all VA families with children don’t always have enough to eat. We need to so something about this and we need to do it fast.
The AHA is teaming up with our friends at the Capitol Area Food Bank to host a Community Conversation about the issue and what can be done.
Please join us Saturday, Oct 24th at Noon at the WoodbridgeNaz Fellowship Hall in Woodbridge for an exciting conversation about the issue of childhood hunger and how the Virginia legislature can address it. Refreshments will be served and we will have a Spanish language interpreter available as well.
