Urge Lawmakers to Invest in Wisconsin’s Children

Wisconsin families are struggling to find available, affordable, and high-quality childcare. It has become a crisis as they encounter long waitlists, closing centers, and blown schedules. The reality is childcare is a must for parents with young children so they can work and provide for their families.

We are committed to building longer, healthier lives and that begins in childhood. In the first few years of life, a child’s brain develops rapidly, building an important foundation for future learning, behavior, and health. Research shows children who participate in early childhood programs are more likely to, as adults, be healthy and have higher earnings, and be less likely to commit crime and receive public assistance.

Contact your state lawmakers today and urge them to invest in the Child Care Counts Program – let’s build a strong, healthy future for our kids.
