Tell Congress to Protect Medicaid and SNAP

Two critical components to prevention, treatment and management of chronic diseases, such as heart disease and stroke, are access to nutritious food and high-quality, affordable medical care. For tens of millions of people, including parents, children, working people, veterans, people with disabilities and chronic medical conditions and seniors, access to these two pillars of heart and brain health come because of Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Congress is rushing to make drastic cuts to both programs, which could put millions of people at increased risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke.

Your lawmakers need to hear from you TODAY! Protect Medicaid and SNAP from massive cuts!
