The Wisconsin Senate has passed a bill that will extend Medicaid coverage to a full year for postpartum mothers. We are excited to see this movement and need your help to thank the Senate and encourage the Assembly to pass the bill.

This bill isn’t just words on paper, it is about saving real lives. Too many women are sent home after giving birth and then lose their health care after just two months. This is not enough coverage because numerous life-threatening conditions can develop up to a year after giving birth.
