Help prepare schools for to save lives!
The Legislature is finalizing the budget, and we are excited that Senate File 2255 includes cardiac emergency response plans (CERPs) is currently included! The next step is for the Senate to vote on the bill.
This bill requires schools to have a plan in place if there is a cardiac arrest on the grounds or a school event. Schools are the heart of our communities and this policy protects not only the students, but everyone that is present, from staff to family and it provides funding for schools to get equipment and training for the plans.
