Maryland Advocates attend Hearts on the Hill Fly-in!

October 27th and 28th, advocates from across the country came together for the American Heart Association Hearts on the Hill Fly-in. Several of these advocates represented Maryland.

Advocates like Patrice Bullock, who lost her son to a sudden cardiac arrest, and others came together to talk to legislators about funding the HEARTS Act, which was passed into law in 2024. While the law was passed, it still needed funding. Advocates got to connect with each other and shared their story with Maryland legislators, telling them why we must fund this lifesaving, bi-partisan, initiative.
